Forest Home Library has laptop computers for public use in the library and a computer trainer (bilingual - Spanish) assigned to provide customer Recovery.govassistance, thanks to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Award 55-42B10549.


Forest Home Library, located at 1432 W. Forest Home Ave., opened in 1966 replacing the South and Lincoln branches and winning an award for its architectural design.

Forest Home has a large collection of Spanish language materials for Adults and Children. The library offers computer classes in English and Spanish. An impressive Native American collection can also be found at our library. A drop-in tutoring program serves adults and students in the community. Forest Home also offers a wide variety of children’s and teen programming including our popular Teacher in the Library program.

A library renovation in 2000 provided Forest Home Library with a new computer lab to serve as a community technology training center. A drop-in Job Center for Spanish and English speaking individuals is also a feature.
